I'm using PCSX2 to play Atelier Iris Eternal Mana, and I'm having an odd problem. Every so often the voiceovers stutters. It's like they get stuck. Oh sure I can hit my X button and the conversations continue but it's becoming a real pain! Could somebody please tell me if there's a fix for this or not and if so what should I do?

Its an emulator issue. Most emulators post2000 era can and will do one or more of the following. Studder, rapid SLOW DOWN, display glitch graphics, messd up audio, freezes for a sec and finally just outright not work. Most people just use modded consoles to play newer games. Did you know there is no perfect emulator for the N64. If you want better emulators, you will have to wait decades for someone to complete it.....or somespeople to, most time its not just one person.

He didn't say it was. He was just pointing out Nintendo 64 emulation isn't yet perfect as a comparison.

Go to Config -> Sound Setting. Try different settings.

    Try asking at pcsx2 forums.

In your sound plugin settings change
    Interpolation to 1.Linear
    Check 'Disable Effects Processing'
    Module to 1.XAudio 2
And see if that fixes it.
By the way do you have any speed hacks other than the defaults enabled? Try playing with them disabled.

Its porbably a problrm on the Emulator side.
Where did you get that ISO?

either the ISO works or it doesn't. If it works any problems are related to the emulator, the configuration or your computer.

    Oops. Edited my last post.
What i meant to say was Its the emulators fault, the ISO works.
Or maybe your pc specs is too weak to handle pcsx2.

It's not my PC! ;v) I've got a 6 core AMD processor and 8 gig of RAM! ;v) But guess what? I've figured out what it was! ;v) It's the latency! ;v) I found two places to adjust it and put them both up to half way and now no more studder! ;v) Well, so I'm hoping. I just went through a part of the game where it did studder before and it didn't this time! ;v) I keeping my thumbs crossed! ;v) Althhough that does make it kind of hard to play! ;v)
