Ok so I successfully modded my Wii (I believe), and I got a burned up copy of Mario Super Sluggers to run just fine. Using the same method I used to make MSS, I tried to burn The Conduit, and when I try to load it up in my Wii, the whole screen goes blue and says "Error #002 - An error has occurred. Press the eject button, remove the Game Disc, and turn off the power to the console. Please read the Wii Operations Manual for further instructions."

Anyone know why it's saying this? I can still get MSS to run just fine, so hopefully my Wii isn't bricked...

I believe it could be because the game is a new release.

    What firmware is your Wii?

    Good to hear.

Always check up on the latest backup launchers available.

Are you using Gamma's 002 fix backup launcher? I just downloaded it today because I had both the Conduit and Need for Speed Undercover give me the 002 error.

Also, to make things easier, you can patch the 002 fix on the main.dol file in the ISO.

Two measures of fixing should do the trick for almost any game.

The Conduit is what gave me the error. I found this:

and it had a #002 fix (plus it looks really nice) so it's working for me.

what is the best/most compatible backup launcher out right now?

The one with the 002 fix.

From now on, I'm not going to waste a disc and just automatically patch the main.dol file on all of the games I get.
