    Hey guys!

I have Windows 7 and got the chance to upgrade it to Windows 10 a few days ago.

Unfortunately, I can't do it. Each time I start the upgrade/installation program, I only get a white window. Because of that, I'm stuck and can't continue with the upgrade/installation. :(

This isn't the first time I've encountered this "white window". Because of it, I can't install and play Final Fantasy XIV and Elder Scrolls Online as well. :'(

Has anyone encountered this "white window" problem and solved it?

you can't upgrade yet anyway, it's not released until the 26th.

    Thanks Loonylion.

But how do I solve the general "white window" problem, even if I'm not talking about Windows 10? As I've written in my first post - as long as installation launchers only show me white windows, I literally can't install games at all.

And it's a pity if I can't install games like Final Fantasy XIV.

I'd guess it's something to do with your IE install from the information you've given.

So reinstalling IE should solve the problem then?

it might. IE is a weird program at times.

Alas, I uninstalled and reinstalled IE11, but I still get the white window. :(

I guess I'll just forget FFXIV and Windows 10...
