First of all I'd like to say I'm sorry if I'm asking a stupid question. This is my first time running an emulator. I believe I've setup ePSXe correctly, however I haven't actually tested it by running a game. Anyway, I downloaded Shadow Tower here and extracted the .rar I was given. When I checked the contents I found 3 files: a .ccd, .img and .sub. So what am I supposed to do with these files? I thought is was an .iso I needed to be able to play the game.
epsxe lets you play ISOs of games if they are in any of these formats > .BIN, .ISO, .IMG, .CUE, .CCD, .MDS. Since you have a .img file, you should load that file from epsxe menu.
Oh, I wasn't aware of that. I thought it needed to be an .iso. Thank you very much! Now I get to enjoy some good ol' nostalgia! ;D
Just adding onto this, an .img file and .iso file are basically the same. So if it's one or the other, it should be read by whatever program you're using.
