    Hello all.

My Gamecube titles are starting to show their wear and tear and some are becoming unplayable, So I wanted to know how I could go about the process of getting burned Gamecube titles working on the Wii.

I already have a soft-modded wii thanks to a friend, he modded it so I could play burned Wii games and have emulators on it back in 2010, the friend in question is no longer available. the programs he loaded onto my wii are:

~The Homebrew Channel, and within the HBC theres these programs:
    -ARC 1.1b mod06 Offline
    -BootMii Multi-Mod Manager CB2
    -Priiloader Version 0.4
    -Various classic console emulators

    ~Configurable USB Loader
    ~Backup Launcher Channel
    ~LoadMii

The programs themselves have not been updated since 2010, so if their are new versions that I need let me know before hand.

Also, My wii has never been connected to the 'net, so it still has the Ver. 3.4U OS. if I need to update, please let me know of a way without a USB to LAN attachment because I'm currently lacking 1 of those.

I have some Memorex DVD-Rs on hand as well but if I have to get another form of DVDs I will. also using IMGBURN but will switch that as well if needed.

As you can probably tell I'm pretty clueless on how to go about this, so step by step / for dummies instructions will most likely be needed or I can follow tutorials if I can understand them well enough.

If anymore information is needed about my Wii or anything just ask and I will let you know. thank you for the help! :)

So you want to play through disc? It'd be much easier to just run an ISO through the Wii via an emulator

You'll need the Gamecube Backup Launcher.
You should be able to make a direct copy with ImgBurn.

Oh, and do not update any of the programs unless you absolutely have to. And since you had a friend do it, and not yourself, I would just leave all of that stuff alone.

That would be a viable option if I had a HDD tacked onto my wii, but I don't. besides I have a first generation wii with all the gamecube hookups so it'd be kind of pointless to run an emulator when all the actual gamecube hardware is still inside.

Where would I get this Backup Launcher?

And are you for certain I shouldn't update any of these older version programs?

Google is your friend. Should be pretty much anywhere.

Yes, unless a specific (Wii) game starts giving you problems and you've already done the Error 002 fix, and applied other quick fixes. I'm still running 4.1U, with just a few cIOSes installed and have had no problems. Don't fix what isn't broken. I mean, you can do what another individual on here did, even though I specifically told him not to. Oh well, can't fix stupid. lol

Don't do anything other than run your games if you don't know what you're doing when you mess with system files. You just might turn your console into a nice doorstop.

Okay I understand, so just install this gamecube backup launcher. last thing I want is a white brick I'll look for the program now.

    Offtopic a bit.

Just wonder if the ISO of a gamecube game saves can be saved onto a SD card ?, rather using physical gamecube memorycard...

Not yet worked up to getting it softmod ed yet, kids borrow it for Easter holidays.

Are worked up the nerve to try ;D , Don't what to brick it.

I see USB Loader GX 4.3 Updated Version, can be installed offline, are is this not safe ?

The homebrew channel looks kind of easy .

My firmware is v4.3E on web seed to be best to LetterBomb

Here a good site CompleteSoftmodGuide for BL and all that stuff: https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/backup-launchers/gamecube

Hum looks like it can backup saves to sd card to.

But as seed at your own risk .

....I don't think you're looking at this topic too well. my Wii is already modded I just need to know how to properly install GC Backup Launcher using the programs I already have on my Wii.

Those videos you provided are to take a normal unmodified wii and have it run GC games.
