Icepeak Freeze Help? Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games DS

... I think I'm the only one who's still playing this game, am I? Y'know, [4274] or [4292] Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games for the DS.

Anyway, I'm trying to look for a patch, rom or save file for the game that either fixes, already fixed or already past Icepeak's introduction. I've tried searching, but all those are already taken down. Since they all were up at least 3 years ago... :-\

I'm hoping at least someone could give me hope. :'(

Here's a few more details:

I use DeSmuME, which is an emulator version 0.9.9.
I'm not sure which language is it, but it's in English. You guys can try and tell me the few differences between American and British versions.
The game freezes on the way from Cubyrinth to Icepeak after getting in the cannon and a small glimpse of Icepeak can be seen.
Everything else is fine, just the freezing part.

Can anyone help? Just give me a save file, a confirmed fixed ROM or a patch that works. Please?

 

You can use DS-Scene Rom Tool to patch the ROM yourself. It contains patches for almost every game.

You can use your original save, make a backup copy of the save first.

And rename and Match the save to the ROM's name.

Like.

You save will be in the battery folder . and has file extention of .dsv

Although I'm not sure if those are confirmed or not, I thank you. It's not that I'm doubting it, I once downloaded a ROM of the same that was said to be fixed and after 6 hours of playing to reach Cubyrinth the glitch was still there. Which made me rage out of my mind.

The new patched ROM's where fine at the jump to the Ice peek .

I have no idea why play all the way through again, when you could have renamed your original save to match the game file name ??? .

 

I didn't really mind anyway. And if you say so, then I'll have no worries! ;D

Rom number will be same for USA, just rename.

PS: Make sure Name and Save file match names

Well, I tryed to patch it but The file is unrecongnized and i get the freeze at icepeak again and again im using Desmume 9.10, A little help here? I renamed the save file and put it in the battery folder and it still wont work, i saw the extension dsv file, i reopened and restarted desmume but it wont work? any help?
