    so it is not emulating.

Do you have the bios in the bios folder (file called SCPH1001.bin)?
are you running the game using 'run ISO' then choosing the final fantasy .bin file?

for the record, Pete's website says you should be using his DX6 driver, and what your graphics chip is capable of depends on the driver. (because intel chips aren't real graphics chips, they provide a small amount of hardware 'assistance' and most of the actual work is done by the CPU/driver). I'm still looking into this problem.

I tested it on my friends pc using epsxe 1.5.2 with all the suggested settings and it still doesn't work but other games worked, just like with my laptop. Though, i can't remember what graphic he's using.

    try the openGL plugin.....
set the video to fast...but change the framerate to 60 or auto!

OpenGL won't work on intel IGPs, they don't support it.

So, where do i get this psx emulator and how to do the settings?

its called psxfin...if im not mistaken..
search the main site for the emulator links.....
the psx doesnt use any external plugin...so the settings is simple.... good luck :)

It worked on other games but not ff9, just like epsxe. Just what's wrong with this game?

When i open the .bin file, it writes 'incorrect header'. What's that supposed to mean?

thats odd, it could be the cause of the problem. I would guess it means there's something wrong with your copy of the iso.

    Which means redownloading. Lol

if after redownloading you still have the problem..
then the rom itself is bad!
some user have the same issues with FFIX disc 1.... :(
