so im from the uk and i can pay to get a premium account so i can get unlimited downloads it really sucks because theres lots of games that i have the discs for (which ive broken ) and i want to download onto a hard drive but because im in the uk i cant this really sucks does anyone know a way around it?
nobody can buy a premium account at the moment, we're having issues that we're trying to resolve. It's not specific to UK users.
Points system is seriously good... It's free... Dude, sometimes... people actually need to buy things to download them... This site actually lets you download for free
the points limit the bandwidth we use, which in turn limits the amount we have to pay in bandwidth fees. The premium member fees then pay the bills.

you're going to be lower priority than people that can't get gsm. sucks but that's one of the many downsides of using mobile broadband.
So why can't you just setup a dummy account with Paypal and we as users send a gift, pay for "services", whatever and in the payment, put our usernames. That is how we do our NFL elimination pool that has about 600 members and 1 guy holds the money each year.
Hit the porn ad route. That goes got to generate enough money to cover the cost of bandwith. Maybe not full blown download speed or perhaps a series of ads that have to be watched and such for each download and cap the download to 1 at a time. Might be effective enough. Sorry I am spit balling here.
ads don't pay well these days. download speed is already limited to 250kB/s and 1 at a time for none premiums and has been for years.
