PSX emulator memory card?

Hello. I've downloaded a PSX torrent and some roms, and am wondering if it is possible to download some sort of memory card to save games to. Although the emulator allows me to save game states directly to it, I don't think that will necessarily work with games that require you to switch CDs after reaching a certain point. ((FF9, legend of dragoon, etc.)) Any suggestions?

ePSXe has built in memory cards.

Thanks for the tip. This emulator seems pretty complicated though and the faq doesn't help very much. This may take awhile...

ePSXe is the best PSX emulator at the moment the only problem is you need to own the same model of PS1 as the bios you use or its illegal to use

that isn't true. Its illegal whether or not you own a PSX.

Does that mean it's really illegal to dump the bios of your own PS1?
Sorry for being off-topic, just curious right now.

possibly, possibly not. Downloading one is always illegal.

Ive Checked and if you own the ps1 you can rip the bios off of it or if you look underneath on the sticker it should have like a SCPH - 1001 then you allowed to use that bios version.
its all a matter of getting the right bios version as you ps1 and then if you want the long way around then you could always purchase the licence to use it fully as you wish for about 75-ish euros

Just because you own something, doesn't give you the right to download a copy of it. You have to make the copy yourself, using the media you own. It is never legal to download copyrighted material. (Unless of course you are downloading it from the copyright holder, or an organization that has a distribution license).
