you should try those tutorials tuna...and in 4 probably 5 days I am having a contest in drawing anime...the reward will be 5000points/that is like 100 days of romulation...I have contacted the admin and moderators and they say its ok...so I just have to think HOW am I gonna do this(the rules I mean)...suggestions please PM me

I will give the prize in base of originality not in quality of the drawing...If the drawing is made by you and not googleled ,you might just win...
example:
1)the quality

this is not original but it is good looking...might win ,not sure...
2) the originality:

a guy with a big sword...Final Fantasy like...it is always original...can be the winner
3) Original and good looking:

nice character...coulbe a witch or a spellcaster..original and cool.the closest to the victory

well it lacks of something..add some accessories (weapon, accessory, items)and a description...add some personality even emotions...that should make it more original...no need of a background...In all it is fine..oh and add a signature

OK... RULE nr 1) The anime character MUST be of YOUR creation and not from an existing anime series...
2) Do not try to trick me to think that you made a certain drawing when you googled it instead...other rules to be applied later when the contest will be open 4 or maybe 5 days from now

 

Put your rules to the first post(OP),make it more detailed, so people can know how your contest working and
that would make it more structured.

You can use either imageshack or photobucket or tinypic or freeimagehosting.. or others existing image hosting site..

 

by originality I mean a character that is cool...in other words a character with lots of stuff on him...weapons,accessories,good clothes...for example , a character dressed in a tshirt and some jeans is kinda normal but a character that is wrapped in something and has a sword or a staff and possibly not human,that is original...the partecipants should draw I don't know,swordsmen, spellcasters,witches,oni,demons,angels,fighters, ghosts...cool stuff...as for the drawings , I don't care how good looking are they but how cool is the idea of a character...oh and the character must not be from an existing anime

 

actually that drawing is a self portrait.

 

well add something to it if you want ...how about some wings?;D you will look cool with wings

 

of course practice is all you need, silly boy

remove everything and keep this, that's the definition of originality
