Put the folder Moonshell in the root of your SD put the moonshell.nds and the language.nds also in the root of your SD and it will work http://www.mediafire.com/?jq1nmfiwmom http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7B9FI0V6
If you go to filetrip.net and find the official Moonshell 2.10 full package and "install" it to your flashcart (it is about 44mb once installed), it is very solid. The regular loader doesn't work on mine, but the alt loader works great. I found it runs homebrew far better than Wood R4, so I just use moonshell when I want to run homebrew anymore.
Put all files in the root of the card. It should be something like: moonshl.nds (or something to that effect) Moonshell System Folder (should hold all of the moonshell system files, whatever the name is) If it still won't work, update your moonshell software. Go to filetrip.net and search for moonshell. Get the latest version or an earlier STABLE version. Try using that, and if it still doesn't work, I don't know what to tell ya.
Do you try to enter your multimedia by the second Icon off your r4? It can happen that that button does not work just enter the game icon and load moonshell.nds it will work The link I gave was for moonshell 2.05 stable and it works on my Acekard 2i and R4 RTS
yes i tried entering it from the second button. also just to say before when i first got my r4 it worked perfectly without moonshell until i updated it and even when i went back to the old firmware it still needed moonshell. how could i make it so it doesnt need it? and even when i tried moonshell from the game button and loaded it it still didnt work. not even the alternate loader.
Question: Is there any "useless" data that could be easily and safely removed from that folders, in order to save some space? Stuff like languages, or something... it's not like I'll ever need my Moonshell in Javanese, anyways.
Not sure, you'll have to check it out. I just didn't find it worth it to sort through all the folders to get rid of a few kbs of files.
Alright this is what I would do if I where you. I would backup everything from the SD card and format it. after that I'd reinstall the firmwire and the put backed up files back everything should work fine.
