    Might be worth pointing out that you need to enable cheat by clicking the checkbox next to it, otherwise it wont work.
    @ "ok button for creating cheat disabled" - should work after restarting program.
    Should Desume saves work after changing to .SAV ? for some reason they dont work for me, eventho i can reload a clean save made in no$ without problems. My fresh no$ save is 206 kb despite properly setting it up to 512 Flash in DS Cardridge, is that normal ?.?

    For Desume change .sav to .dsv and no$zoomer vr verse .dsv to .sav

    (Note) Desume uses .dsv and Not .sav

    It should work fine most of the time, But in case always use a backup copy of original .

    On the other hand somethins converting a backup copy of the save could help try: http://shunyweb.info/convert.php

    I would try not to worry about size of save, should auto config it's self on saving.

    I'm guessing that you're using No$gba with No$zoomer.
    You need to on EX5 when viewing the film in Pokestar Studios or the game will freeze. Happen to me too.

    Have you tried closing the emulator, wait for few minutes, then re-play the battle over? Just to see if it's caused by a glitch or maybe just the emulator acting up. Or try performing the battle on latest DeSmuMe emulator, when done, you can always go back to playing the rom on Zoomer.

    Between emulators no$zoomer and DeSmuMe make a copy of the save and change .sav to .dsv for DeSmuMe and vice verser

    PS: be sure you're PC file extention is enabled .

    Make sure the DS Save File type is set to Flash 512.

    Maybe but I myself nether had saving issue.

    Weird, but hope by trying messing with the settings he can get his issue sorted.

    Hopefully, maybe he forgot to assign the save file type as per mentioned in page 1. Or maybe he forgot to save the No$GBA setup in No$Zoomer before closing the emulator thus when he return the setting changed. It's best he recheck his settings with what's on page 1. Not quite sure myself with what he did/didn't do, as his post isn't much help to pinpoint the possible cause.

    i have done everything as per what is on page 1 correctly and every detail, to save the game i go into the bag in-game and press save right? cause that is what ive been doing and at the end of it i get the 'save error' message. i have tried everything n double checking my settings but cant seem to fix it, any help at all please?

    @ blazum

    Maybe try deleting the original save in the battery folder and create a fresh one by replaying the game, it could have bean corrupted in the first place.

    Onther then this, maybe get the real hardware pre-owned DS lite and R4 maybe, are maybe a friend could have one from years ago ask about.
