downloaded Rom and PC appeared to have mailware afterwards

    Hi i downloaded a rom for a PSP on to my PC and afterwards my PC appeared to have mailware (i believe that is what it is called) is that common on this site ?. Any tips on how i can stop this happening in the future ?.

    You did not get this malware from us. The file you download is a .rar or .7z file which contain an image meant to be run by an emulator/console. These files are not executable files and cannot be a virus/malware. Whatever you downloaded that gave you malware did not come from us.

    None of our files contain malware and we don't run ads, I'm sorry to say this is a total coincidence as there is no way it could have come from this site.

    What browser do you use and do you have an adblocker? I can try to help you remove the malware if you want.
