Dragon Quest IX - Save Trading (for Tag mode unlocks)

For those of us not in Japan, meeting enough people in tag mode to unlock the whole of the inn (and eventually some of the cameo equipment) will be difficult to impossible. You need to have thirty seperate guests (though having more can unlock a few alchemy ingredients, I think). But for those of us with access to two DSs, and two flashcarts (or a copy of the game and a flashcart) there's a solution. If we post our saves up, we can load them on the second DS, and tag them on our main game. This means we need, between us, thirty different save files.

So what I'm asking is that you post a link to a download of your save file, as well as a description of what format it is (eg .sav, from DSTT). If we can get thirty of them, some people at least, will be able to get this without scouring the country for other players ^^; Hopefully you all have friends with flashcarts you can use, but even if you don't, help a guy out? Much appreiciated to anyone who does help~

Oh, let me just add that you can post other regions saves, they work as long as you rename them to match your rom, so JP saves are welcome. Any save that's reached the second town in the game is welcome ^^

    To get the ball rolling, here's mine;

Here's hoping for lots of saves (or at least 29 more << )

Oh, man. Thanks for this topic and your sav.

I've managed to get six tags by myself by doing the whole tag then delete process with my two copies, but it takes along time doing it this way. I also have a japanese save that supposedly has all of the best japanese maps including the Masayuki map. So I can contribute seven of them right off the bat.

Anyone playing DQ9 on a flash cart, please upload your saves.

Oh, and my saves are in .sav format.

No problem, man, and thanks to your girl for her save, too. I'll continue doing the two copy method in the mean time. Keep 'em coming, people.

Thanks Griff, and good luck with your continued two saving Crystal. I might do some tomorrow, unless this topic goes amazingly well and fills up

I'm doing one right now, but it takes an hour from starting a new game, to getting to the inn at stornway, and then starting over again.

Yeah, I figured it would be about that long. That's why I decided to try and gather them online, figured it had to be quicker, or at least less tedious, than starting 29 new saves ^^; Hopefully this will reduce the load on you a bit!

Found that elsewhere on the internets, from a guy called madmonktci. He tried to start one of these topics, but it seems to have bombed with no replies. I'm gonna point him to this topic ^^; It's in .sav form, from an Acekard

I said I wouldn't post another one until I had at least two or three more, but I couldn't resist. lol

I'll do two more, and then I'll stop for the night.

And thanks for your save, donelwero.

I think I can make lots of saves with a tool named DQIX save editor. The only problem is that its in japanese. In fact the only problem I've got right now is giving names to characters, cause in the end we'll end up having 30 visitors the same look and name. I can't use japanese either because there are no japanese fonts inside this game.

I'll try to make as many as possible and upload them tonight. I'll be editing one japanese save that has a lot of maps so you can choose wether you want a map or not.

    There you go.

There are 10 different saves I made using the save editor. I changed the name for every save so you wont have dupes on your guest list.

I'm not in that city yet :p (I played 1.43 hours, but I do not know how to get there).
I will post my save file if I'm there.
