You are able to play the games, but it is more like a GameCube with no memory card: You can't save! Well, you have two options: - Buy a new card - Update to YSMenu Here we are discussing YSMenu problems. Feel free to try anything to fix your YSMenu installation! This is no questions topic! (please read before posting) You may post problems related to YSMenu on R4 SDHC, but this is not the right topic to post in when having problems generating YSMenu, playing a certain game, or anything that is explained in this post. DLDI Errors Getting DLDI errors? Download this file: r4dldi.dat And place it in the root of your micro SD card. Please note YSMenu doesn't work on any R4's other then the R4 and the R4 SDHC! This file is build with and meant for the R4 SDHC. Using this with any other card may not work. Please format your card when you still get errors after using this file. Boot loader errors Getting "No boot loader" errors? Download this file: r4patch.dat Place it in the YSMenu/TTMenu folder, then run YSMenu again. If it is not working try putting it in the root. Load ROM errcode=-# errors Download the following RAR file (download link found in the topic): Download (right click > Save target as) Link was dead, replaced! If your browser doesn't support this method just click the link.[/b] Replace the files inside the TTMenu/YSMenu folder when asked. Spoiler: Replacing the files Download the files from the link above - Go into your SD card (Computer > Removable Device) -- Go into TTMenu/YSMenu --- Paste/move all files into there (TXT ones are not needed, but very interesting) ---- Press "Overwrite" when asked (Yes to all) Getting any other errors? your roms go on the root of the sd card. or you can create a folder, put it any name you want. and put your roms there. what card do you have. if its a R4 clone. remember ysmenu does not substitute the r4 firmware. but runs as a secondary firmware
Copy YSMenu and all files on your SD card to the computer and then format it. Computer > Removable Device (right click) > Format FAT32 is what you want/need. If you do not have a card that says "R4 Revolution for DS NDS/NDSL" Then it is a clone. YSMenu won't run as firmware then. PS make sure you have a _DS_MENU.dat in the root folder on your SD card.
i get a pretty strange thing LOL whatever i try to run a recent game (like yu gi oh reverse of arcadia) the ysmenu ALWAYS load the wrong rom :S always load the rom that is before the rom i want. i have a R4 SDHC card thanks PS : still cant play reverse of arcadia
down load the latest ysmenu fixes from here http://filetrip.net/g25123605-TTDS-EXT-INFO-SAV.html right now im playing toy story 3, which is a recent game, and works fine. and also playing dragon quest ix. and other recent games. download and copy all the .dat files to the TTMenu folder in your card
download the r4dldi.dat file from this post. it should be "DLDI ERRORS". just copy that file to the root of your sd card
i have a question there :S why it must be on root? i have ysmenu on /YSMENU folder and not on root. anyway i copyed that file to root and gave me same error :S sorry for being such a botherass xD lool
