Long story short - Microsoft quietly adds anti-cheat feature to windows 10 in its Fall Creators Update.

    • Well they added this anti cheat feature called TruePlay to windows10 in their Fall Creators Update which was rolled out last week.
    • The Fall creators update had other features like Windows Mixed Reality and people integration for the taskbar.
    • TruePlay is designed for game devs to prevent cheating in games, basically it collects data from the games and alerts devs if it finds something out of the ordinary.
    • Currently it is limited only to the games which run the UWP and there are only few of these games like Foza nad Cuphead.
    • TruePlay is disabled by default at the moment in the gaming settings for Windows 10, but Microsoft is starting to make the API available to developers.
