Restarted the game, named my pokémon, got pokégear and I'm off to Cherrygrove city. Will keep you guys updated!

 

ima testing it right now on r4 original firmware 1.18

 

Using DSTT v1.17a12; freezes in 22 actions. Shows black screen with only background music playing.
Using Soul Silver version

 

Anybody who has this rom, please reup to mediafire. Preferably HeartGold; I'd like to test it out on my original R4 to confirm it's working condition.

 

I'm excited too if this is true. If your testing proves it's a working patch, could you upload it somewhere?

 

Damm still froze after 22nd event. well there is still hope for other card users out there keep testing.

mabey not if you use YS menu u could be fine i dont really know. and someone mentioned something about getting past the first gym and the freezes will stop i think. so keep testing could just be my card i dont really know.

Yea i agree can some one still upload im on r4i ultra and at the third badge, the 3 event limit is raping my soul, im willing to try anything

 

I think you guys can't really say it has been confirmed because you didn't try it out with YS menu and what about the reset off and on button on the upper right of the screen on a R4DS?
