I recently bought an r4 card for my 3ds and i downloaded and unzipped the kernel for the card but when i try to use the card it says ' can't open _dsmenu.dat '. If anyone knows a fix for this i would appreciate the help.
Several possibilities; 1. the sd micro is faulty 2. the flash cart is faulty 3. if you're using a 3DS, then maybe its running a firmware version that blocks the use of flash cartridges 4. if other than 3DS, then maybe the cartridge's pins didn't properly connect with that of the handheld's 5. you had downloaded a wrong kernel/firmware from the website not meant for that cartridge In which case, depending on which one your case is, the solution should be logical enough to figure out on your own.
