Hi, some NDS roms refuse to play on my flashcart while others work fine. According to my research, the ones that didn't work were newer, so it means that I have to update the firmware of my flashcart. However, I'm not sure which firmware I ought to use as I think that the flashcart I'm using is an R4 clone. It looks like this: If you can't read what it says on the flashcart, it's "R4 SDHC Revolution for the DS (NDSL/NDS) www . r4ultra . com" According to what it says on my NDS screen, the software I'm using is "R4DS Ultra English Version v1.56". I attempted to put in YSMenu from this link : http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=43121.0, using the R4-clone YSMenu folder in the .zip file. YSMenu was able to load but I still can't play the new NDS roms in R4DS Ultra mode (the old ones work without a hitch) and in YSMenu, I get "Unsupported DLDI Name" error for all the roms. Help would be much appreciated!
Back up SD Micro content to your PC. After that try going here : http://www.r4wood.com/pages/R4i-Ultra-Kernel.html. Download and install it, but replace the 'extinfo.dat, infolib.dat, and savlib.dat' found in the TTMENU Folder with the latest .dat files from the TTMENU Topic : http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=43121.0. You'll still need to load via AKloader.nds even after adding YSMENU before choosing what game to play.
HI, i have the same R4 card, r4ultra.com ect and also SDHC and mine is stuck on the loading screen (i deleted all files accidentally and installed a firmware.) it is apparently the wrong firmware. where can i get the correct firware even though the website is down (r4ultra.com)
For R4 Ultra users who wants to use YSMENU as secondary firmware: 1. Back up SD Micro content to computer 2. Quick Format/Full Format SD Micro 3. Download : http://www.r4wood.com/Kernel/a/ysmenu.rar 4. Extract the downloaded file using whatever extraction program of your choice 5. Restore backed up files from computer to SD Micro and add the downloaded file as well 6. Go to : http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=43121.0 and check the last page for latest update info 7. Download latest DAT files (extinfo.dat, infolib.dat, and savlib.dat) from there, and extract it 8. Open TTMENU folder in SD Micro, replace the 3 DAT files with the ones from no.7 9. Load SD Micro on R4, and run on NDS 10. Load AKloader.nds before choosing the rom to play (if all goes well, you should be able to play normally) * If it didn't work and you want to restore your files, simply quick format and restore using just the backed up files from step 1.

Look up RetroGameFan's YSMENU/TTMENU topic. See if it (read the .txt file provided by him - choose manual download) might help. Can't help you though, since I don't have that cart. Good luck.
