I'm not really that much of a brony anymore, but I'm a big fighting game player and I'm pretty stoked that Fighting is Magic is going to get a total re-haul and would have the chance to be a much better fighter than what it originally was.

 

3/4 of a million just for a shitty DLC character? Jesus.

 

actually looking at this, they need $150k for one character. still quite a crazy amount, though.

 

also apparently their new game will have a mother fucking alpaca

how is a crazy amount? they need to spend money to secure some copyrigth, they need to pay artists, they need to pay the programmers, etc. stuff takes money

Hasbro took a fan concept of pony being humanoid and run a show with it.. i just hope it doesnt end up like Winx Club, if it does it would be ironic.

i guess MLP:FIM creator didnt get the memo about MLP being a brand for little girl because she didnt create the cartoon just for little girls >.>

 

Little girls would be top of the bell curve though. I'm pretty sure the sweaty, neckbearded shortbus losers would be on the fringe.

That being said, I'll still wait for Mane6's fighter to come out. Ponies or not, I liked the engine and how it plays (a psuedo mix of Guilty Gear and MvC, with a hint of Melty Blood/Arcana Heart thrown in).

same here, the demo was pretty good.. i hope it would be better with lauren's involvement...

 

Faust being on board for this game won't have any real difference. She'll just provide the characters, that's it. It's not like her being there would make magically make this game into a BlazBlue or UMvC3 anytime soon.
