If you find anything with NTFS or FAT then get it to show FAT32.

    ...

Can you please post a picture of the window?

The window, yes, but not with the format option showing, looks like printscreen doesn't work when there's a menu open

    Does that key mean anything?

Does it show a tooltip when going over it with the mouse?

Dunno what it means, but no, no tooltip and clicking it does nothing

Seems your card is locked for some reason then...

You can't format it, you can't add files.....

Do you have an Windows PC around you by a change?

I believe the Icon means it's locked and can't be modified.

What type of MicroSD adapter are you using? Some adapters have a write-lock on them which makes you unable to format/write/delete files to them.
Once a MicroSD has been corrupted/failed enough, it may also start appearing even without a locked adapter. This is usually a sign that it's time to purchase a new MicroSD.

Maybe a Windows PC can format it.

Not likely, if that's the case. The issue happens with Windows as well.

    Never seen that. Weird.

    But back to my question:

"What type of MicroSD adapter are you using?" The T-Flash USB one that came with my flash card, but i also tried putting it in my phone and that didn't help so i doubt it's the adapter.

And not only can i not add files, i can't remove them either, i can copy, but cut is greyed out.

And no, i only have this one computer.

Think i should just buy a new card?

It sounds like the failure is the MicroSD.
You can copy, because that is just a read command. Cut modifies the data, so it can't be done. Delete, Format, adding new files, all writing.

Looks like you may have to get a new MicroSD. I would suggest trying a new adapter first, but you said you tried it in your phone and couldn't write to it... so that's probably not it (like you said).
