You basically need 2 things in general to play; [list type=decimal] [*]The kernel (firmware) from the flash cartridge's official website meant for that particular cartridge. The kernel usually is made up of several files, e.g. _dsmenu.dat, _system_ folder, etc. Each R4 may have different number of kernel related files and might even use different naming.
