    The topic title says it all. So what is it? And where did you quote it from?
    It can be from anywhere; books you'd read, games you'd played, music heard, video or movies watched, and even from sources such as, holy book, your parents/grand parents, folklore, local anecdote, customs, etc. There's no need to provide reason why, but an explanation is always welcome.

    * If it's something taken from your native language/dialect, please do provide the original text, and translation. :)

    I've several, however for now mine would be;

    I don't know who said this, but it was a quote my AP Art History teacher had in her room back in High School. It went something like this:

    "Cultivate a sense of urgency so that at the end of each day you can repeat: I have not wasted my day!!"

    Love it and it's been stuck with me throughout all these years. I even have it in my classroom now somewhere posted!
