How to play "Pokémon: HG or SS

1. Download Patch.rar and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe. That's all.

game to be patched by Universal Child's Play Patch.

The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.

Can you edit the link so it works properly?

Edit: I actually won't know if this will work or not since mine already works without a patch...so someone else will have to confirm it.

It works on R4 1.18 with YSMenu. Even with my Japanese Save. Sorry Rykin122.

I thought Universal Child's Play Patch is only for JAP rom ?

So this patch works on the original R4 ver 1.18 with or without ysmenu?
and can someone upload the pre patched rom i dont know how to patch and i'm a noob at this stuff. i dont have any patch tools or anything so please help!

the readme.txt gave a warning that you had to use your own rom dump because the one from the internet wouldn't work. anyone confirm this?

i used the one from this site and it worked.

Using R4 1.18 with ys menu. gone through like 50 events.. works fine. get this now go go go.
been waiting for a good patch for ages

EDIT: Btw i used my jap save file with this. dont know if that makes a difference

They just say that to make you go buy the game and dump it yourself, and to detach them from being labeled a pirate.
It is always a lie that fools the truly gullible. The rom dumps here are exactly the same thing you'd get if you did it yourself.
