No, it does not work on no$gba. There is a fix for it though. Go here:

actually, I just entered/exit a house 150+ times on no$gba without freezing

 

ok so i downloaded the pre patched heart gold rom (Thanks so much chechicharts!) and i am gonna use my us sav file. all i have to do is re name the save file to the exact same thing as the patched rom and i can play using the my original save right?

 

finally after 2 weeks a patch is posted for pokemon (insert version here)!!

 

Hmm weird, i already tested it as well, it froze exactly on the 66th event

 

just re-tested. got to 100 events without problems
using no$zoomer with pre-patched SS

Edit: just got to 200, I'm pretty sure this works

 

Do you have the "firmware.bin" file in your no$gba folder? If so, then that may be why it's working. Try renaming/deleting the firmware file and try it again. Let me know if it still works because it failed to even load for me (using a save after getting the 4th gym badge).

The firmware file? Like I said, please try deleting (or temporarily renaming) it and then running the game to see if it still works. If it does let us know, but if it doesn't then this patch doesn't work for no$gba and it still requires the firmware fix.

actually, I even changed my soul silver.sav to a heartgold.sav, without any problem at all. I know, it's weird, but you can try it yourself.

 

Um quick question is there a way to convert ur save file from the Japanese version to the us version?

 

It doesnt work without the Firmware fix at all, i already tested it. It's working fine with the Patch+Firmware tho
