    It's the only way.

Or you can just use an emulator on your computer.

I prefer the Visualboy Advance on my computer. Runs GBA games pretty much perfectly, but I would much prefer playing them on my DS. I'll eventually get the 3in1, but don't want to spend the money on it.

This was totally correct from the beginning.

I have a feeling that TC is like 10 years old

I'll have to fix that eventually. Apparently had old Nintendo failures on my mind with an advanced version (though apparently Wario Land was pretty fantastic on the Virtualboy).

But yeah, Visualboy. Fantastic, all that.

Don't get a ez flash 3-1. They are totally unreliable. I have 2 and both have saving issues. They just don't last and are a rip off. Best bet is supercard 2 or onwe of the old gba flash cards.

Works fine for me, must be your slot one messing up the saves or your using hacked gba roms.

Mine works perfectly. I bet you're just not backing up your save.
This post makes me think the OP doesn't actually know what "hardware" means. Just for the OP, "hardware" means a physically solid, real life object, unlike "software".

do they sell the 3 in 1 thing in stores?

Perhaps if they sell R4s or Acekards.
EB Games and GameStop do NOT carry them for sure. :p
I wouldn't go around asking though personally. Depends on where you live though. I know in my area, there aren't any flashcart vendors.
