I've got both White and Black loading on my NDSL R4 with R4 Wood 1.25 (set save type to 512K and reset in game to off), however they both freeze when starting a new game, right after the language select. It freezes on the first character (H in English). These were with the pre-patched roms though, should I try something other?
They are only the (J) games in extinfo.dat/infolib.dat for DSTT and YSMenu So no this game will not work on DSTT at the moment as i have checked in them files with TTdT.exe , Shame my DS is in the pawn shop, I could have had a crack at it now to get it to work XD! Well they will have it fixed real fast! So RGF v6.51 No go
Wouldnt changing the same hex, like it was changed for J, solve the Exp problem? Or is my assumption right that the part of the code for it is in a different place and/or different itself?
You have to check the difference in both versions with a hex-editor like hexcmp, (J) ROM data structure might be much diffrent then that of either (E) are (U) rom, maybe see were the ROM offsets where the data is applyed to RAM works diffrent
Someone should ry the same method as with the Jap ones. May work, of cousre if the data is different...than it won't.
Well, no experience on Akaio 1.8, as others have affirmed prior to me posting. Sort of nice to see the save from the Japanese ROM working on it, that's a portent for the ROMs not being too different, right? Shouldn't be too difficult to crack the AP then, I'd have thought. I don't know though, I write in my spare time, I don't program. How long did the XP patch take with the Japanese ROMs? Reckon it could be done within a day, or am I being ludicrous?
Are these US/EU versions ? Sorry for the noob question but couldn't figure it out. I expect massive flamage
