Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver Black Screen and Freezing Issues.

Wow...so that code doesn't fix anything then? It still freezes after 45 minutes?

 

Have you played the game without the patch? Every 45 minutes is nothing. I'm just happy the game is playable.

 

What patch exactly is this? There are so many going around, I'd like to try this one on my DS.

 

Hi I'm new to this site and I been having alot of trouble getting heart gold to work on my no$ but! today i found this Action replay code the removes the black screen of death and lets me play it on no$ without any problems

but not sure if there might be some patch I still need because it seems to be working fine so long as this AR code is on

It works on no$ but this got me thinking is there a way to use that code on a flashcart? and if it works fine on no$ maybe with this code on a flash cart it would work just as well

again sorry I'm a noob I'm really new to all of the roms patching and tec talk I have manage to make my HG version work without this code on no$ but After trying out this Ar code it seems to be working the same as the patched HG I got on my no$cash

also just in case can anyone provide me with a download link to a patched Soul silver rom?

 

Action Replay Code does not work. It still freezes but whatever. Still playable unless you're one of those who gets annoyed by something that gets repeated and interrupts the game.

So the AR code only helps it out a little bit more?

Sup dudes, I've been reading the other pages about the Pokemon Heard Gold and Soul Silver roms. Just here to say mine work perfectly fine on my N5/R4. I have no problems at all so far(I just caught Sudowoodo lol). I used this patch first: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DFROSF40

So when you say you have had "No problems at all", you mean to say that your version is not freezing at random points due to their new anti-piracy measure? Also, for the second patch, did you just use the English translation?

 

When i RT save with my Itouch ds (newest firmware) when i go inside a house the screen goes black and freezes. When I try to save normally it also freezes. Is there a patch that fixes this problem. (I played for more then an hour before i tried to save but i didn't get a black screen until i RT saved).

 

Yup no problems, I've been playing for about an hour now. And I used the first patch link I posted then used the other one right after. And it works, both are English patched. I'll uploaded them.

Yes there are no freezes dude and no black screens.

 

Do both of those links have both patches on them, or just the English translation?

 

Uhh... those are the roms that I'm using right now.. It's the result of what I did with those two patch links I posted earlier. Try em out yourself. :\
