I can't find this rudolph patch either. The links are dead.

 

Hello people. New here. i found a link on youtube where u could download a pre patched rom for gold and silver. and i am testing it on my iTouch DS. i was able to save without it freezing on me. Im going to continue playing and see what happines. heres the link to the download for each if u are interested

Just updated my NO$GBA 2.6a HG/SS Fix Post back on Pg.18. Now you can get it w/ the 2 untouched original Roms or w/o them. It now also includes the newest English Patch v. 3b

 

If you're using NO$GBA 2.6a, Diablo, then it will work (just as long as you patch them all correctly and in the order that I said).

 

hey sorry for the noob question but the rudolph patch, leaves me with a .bak (backup file I take it) so do I just keep using the .nds or do I rename the .bak?

 

dont know much about no$gba, but on an R4, a .bak file is really just a back-up of your saved file...so if anything went wrong with your .sav, you use the .bak to restore your saved file....dunno if that helped, but just continue using the .nds file

 

The .bak file is the Rom before you patched it, and the .nds file is the new patched file, and is the one you want. You can just delete the .bak file.

Sorry this may be off topic but can anyone tell me the max amount of letters to fill in for character's names? Is it only 5 letters?

 

Yeah, due to it being a Japanese Rom, it only allows 5 English Characters for a Trainer's Name.

What is the newest English patch for heart gold?I have an R4i. I already have a freezing patch and v1 of English patch(patched ROM works beautifully on my R4i), but I heard that v2.5 was out so i was wondering if some one could post a link.

 

Mine that I just posted. Works 100% on NO$GBA 2.6a!
Though, I am still unsure how well it works, if at all, on a Flash Cart.

Can I maybe get a couple or few volunteers to test it for me on a Flash Cart or 2?

I am having problems with the new patch evilclown just posted. I opened up the delta GUI thing and found the patch then clicked the ROM. I tried playing but I still have a black screen. Did I do anything wrong? I have the reset thing correct. I put the GBA mode thing to Nintendo DS (In GBA Mode). Does that make any difference?

 

If you're having troubles with it, just download the Roms I just posted on the last page. It'll make things wayyy easier for ya'.

 

Is English patch (Heart Gold) v2.5b done yet? If so, can someone post a link? Please.
