Just tested on M3's latest firmware, not the Sakura. 17h, I believe. Plays just fine, but does not save progress.
wasn't this a really early dump? US release was 3/28 i thought **Also confirming black screen on 1.58 B2 for the cycloDS
ok this is a noob question right here... if someone fixes this game and it's working correctly, would it be trimmed already? or is this something we might need to do if we wish too?
Some patches trim the rom in the process, which is why it ends up smaller. And yes, it appears to be an early dump. Which just means that you are less likely to get fixes until the games true street date. http://www.amazon.com/WarioWare-DIY-Nintendo-DS/dp/B0033BJSDI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1269116796&sr=8-2
Doesn't the (J) Fix works on this? And why does the size of the file becomes 16MB (a lot less in comparsion with the ROM size) when we trim it? Maybe because of that NAND memory stuff?
It has something to do with the memory for the save, according to a post over at ds-scene (linked on first page). I don't know why that would matter though.
I got it to work on No$GBA somehow... I do not know how I just clicked a way through the options... Worked with No$Zoomer.
in my R4 III,freezed 1 time, but then, never happened other freeze but the problem is he doesn't save...
game on R4i-SDHC locks up at a black screen. tried on no$gba, appeared to load fine, then the emulator crashes
Black screen o death on my fire-card (n-card clone) with every option I could use. Firmware 2.52 stable.
That's a bit... Too much. Save data (*.sav) must be: - 512 KB (standard) - 1 MB (for special things) Games must be (untrimmed): - 8 MB - 16 MB - 32 MB - 64 MB - 128 MB - 256 MB - 512 MB You are talking about the game data. But then you are wrong too, it must be 16 MB.
No Yoshi, this game has something special about the save data. Which is why the game is 128MB dumped, but only has about 16MB of actual game data. Check out the ds-scene topic linked on the first page.
Very likely. But doesn't change that the game still tries to do it, and that's causing the problems with the flashcarts.
