Age of Empires: Mythologies

Sorry if this had been answered already. I'm a newbie here.

But I have tried patching AOE: Mythologies already but it still doesn't work. It still keeps on saying "Could not access save data. Turn off the power and reinsert the Game Card." Can anyone help me with this? I have a feeling that I did something wrong...

Yes I have. That's where I learned to patch.

 

What flash cart?

 

The R4. I've noticed that the R4 is having a lot of trouble with many games. Could this be the reason?

 

Have you updated it to the latest firmware?

 

I think so... Version 1.18 is the latest one, right? Because that's what I got.

 

Might need to try to patch the game again with a different binary, trial and error. I don't have an R4 so i'm just pulling straws on what you can try. Be patient and someone will show shortly that may explain things better than what I am doing.

 

ARM7 patch again with another file from a ROM you know already works on your R4's current firmware. Otherwise, you'll have to try firmware from http://www.r4li.com/ or the alternative DSTT based firmware, YSMenu.

Wait so you have the r4ds.com version of the card?

 

I don't really know... My cousin bought and gave it to me. And I'm almost clueless about the R4 until I came to Romulation.
