GBA roms on R4DS

I found a good program to convert gba files to nds files to put on my r4ds
well i think i need something more because when i try playing , screen comes black and "Error in fat init"

 

Maybe NDStation? But you need the EZ 3-in-1 or similar to run the converted games.

Gba roms need a certain kind of 'ram'.
and the gba expantion gives that kind of ram so you can play GBA games

you can NOT play GBA roms without something like that.

 

And can't I add a kind of gba-ram?

 

or an iplayer cart, there is now a gba emulator that uses the iplayers extra hardware(ram) to run gba games in slot 1

 

But the iplayer cannot play NDS games, since it's not really a flashcart, it's more of a media playing device.

 

so as a conclusion, you have to buy an expansion pack for the slot 2, to make GBA work for your DS
