Give the Pokemon items they can use as weapons, armours, etc. in battle! Uzi, shotgun, samurai, whatever...

Indeed. Make the game more like the Anime. Visually GEN VI already looks like the anime, all that's left is to revamp the battle system to closer to the anime. Maybe have Pokemon learn new moves by combining moves it already knows, like how Ash often does with his Pokemon. For example accidentally teaching his Froakie Double Team when he asked Sanpei (the Ninja Kid who had a Frogadier) to teach them Quick Attack. Or like when his Pikachu learned Volt tackle when he made it use quick attack while it was still holding up stored static electricity.
Make the main characters' customizable; clothing, facial, etc. Make the game more like the Atelier Mana/Rune Factory! Better yet, mess the game into bibimbap!
yes. pikachus volt tackle could be executed like if pikachu(which doesnt knows volttackle) holds a electric gem/zap plate/light ball and performs a quickattack then the attack would have some chance of becoming a vottackle becoming more like anime will be totaly cool.
Bad Idea NOOO ;D Like Pokemon aren't strong enough already with Mega Evo. Raquaza in near invincible at the moment. Imagine giving a Rocket Launcher and Shotgun to an uber like Mewtwo XD Trust me BAAAD IDEA
Mega evolution are GameFreaks way of stretching it's popularity, but the game play is pretty much boringly static. Pokemon Conquest was an interesting move away from it's comfort zone. I'd love to see a move again like this. If the next instalment is still the same as before, it'd be too boring to expect. At least, if the game adopt fun activities from other games, for example Atelier Iris's alchemy feature of finding stuff to mix into new item, it be something new.
and like fusing Kyuremwith zekrom or reshiram to produce black Kyurem or white Kyurem with the help of items? (DNA splicer in this case)
