It should. I presume you are using an N5? Make sure you have the latest usercheat.dat and it is enabled in the game and settings.
i can enable them , but i cant select which cheats i want to be on or off, this is quite important since in sands of destruction there is one set of codes that must be turned on, boot the game, save, then turn the game off, select the next otherwise the game crashes
Patch your game and that should fix the problem. As for cheats, are you sure they are enabled in the globalsettings.ini file?
no no no, aiether, it's not a thing of patching the game, the instructions bundled with the cheats point out the game crashes if the M item code, M weapon code M armour code and M code are enable all four at the same time. Second i can turn on or off the cheats, but unlike YSmenu i dont get a screen to select what cheats are avaible.

Hi Xenirina So i managed to get this firmware working no problem and it looks great! well done. I had a question though. Is there any way to make my ds boot strait into the wood firmware rather than it loading the regular R4 f/w then needing to go to games->woodr4.nds Id like to go straight in wood if thats possible Cheers!
People still use this shit? Hiya. It's not possible to go straight to Wood, but you can make the Wood R4.nds file boot automatically. Just change the file 'Wood R4.nds' to 'default.nds' That will make the firmware boot the file automatically. It still goes through the R4 SDHC firmware, but it will boot the .nds file on its own.
Thanks for the responses Why is there something better i should be using? My card is an R4 SDHC (probably a clone) on DS Lite. On v1.34 kernel which was a bitch to upgrade to as i recall since most kernels dont like my card
